Teagan Olivia King (she/her) grew up in Michigan’s wild Upper Peninsula, but traded in the stormy shores of Lake Superior for the wind-beaten sandbars of Lake Huron. She holds a degree in creative writing from Northern Michigan University. Her stories can be found in anthologies from Phantom House Press, Quill and Crow Publishing, Shortwave Publishing, Black Spot Books, Eerie River Publishing, and the literary journals Diet Milk Magazine and Into the Teeth of the Wind.
Having been diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder and PTSD for most of her life, Teagan is passionate about telling stories of resilience. Stories of characters who discover the power of their own emotions, and use that power to overcome. When not writing, Teagan can be found wandering the woods or howling at the moon. She lives in northern Michigan at the end of a dead end track with her beloved, a rescue pup named Remus, a black cat named Chester, who may or may not harbor the soul of some long-dead deity, and probably some ghosts. Teagan is an active writer in the HWA. Her first full-length horror adult novel, SPIT BACK THE BONES, comes out on September 23rd, 2025. Her romantasy debut, BITTERBLOOM, comes out March 10th, 2026. Teagan is represented by Amy Giuffrida. Visit her website at: teaganoliviaking.com |
