Scotty Milder was born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico, the birthplace of the atomic bomb. He began publishing short stories in indie horror magazines while in college, and went on to earn an MFA in Screenwriting from Boston University. He has developed screenplays with independent producers and major Hollywood studios, and his low-budget feature film Dead Billy is available on Amazon, Google Play, and other streaming platforms. His short fiction has appeared or will appear in Dark Matter Magazine, Cosmic Horror Monthly, the Scare You To Sleep podcast, and anthologies from Dark Moon Books, HellBound Books, Sinister Smile Press, Dark Ink Books, and others. He is also the creator and host of the Horror from the High Desert podcast and co-host of The Weirdest Thing history podcast with actor/theatre artist Amelia Ampuero.
