Scott McCloskey counted the dead with Crom across many ragged copies of The Savage Sword of Conan throughout much of the 1980s. Though the issues are now but tarnished steel, the influence on his writing is as pure as a platinum blade. Today he stands beside his wife and daughters on the eastern coast of the United States with a gaggle of Russian Wolfhounds to mind, but hooves still beat in time to the endless ride across the scorched sands in his heart.
Scott's typewriter sometimes emits sword and sorcery, YA, and even middle grade adventure fiction by day, but is subject to occasional fits of lycanthropy, and is known to go bump in the backwoods Pennsylvanian night. His works are catalogued at his personal website, RainHand Books. |
