I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who submitted a story to Negative Space. Overall, this second submission period was much shorter than the first one (only 15 days), but we still received eighty stories total, which is very close to the same amount we received during the initial three-month submission period! Although we read many outstanding stories, we could only accept four. Those new authors are: Maggie Slater, JC Martinez, Amelia Gorman, and PL McMillan! You can check out their bios on the DPP website here: www.darkpeninsulapress.com/our-authors
Here is the final TOC (in no particular order): “It’s Inside” by SR Miller “Curiosity’s Child” by Jude Reid “The Artist and the Muse” by Jay Wilburn “Rhapsody in Flesh Minor” by Maggie Slater “Sacs” by JC Martínez “The Collectors” by Michelle Tang “Luminescence” by Scotty Milder “Puzzled Pieces, Lock-in Places” by Amelia Gorman “Midnight, off Arkansas River Trail” by Eric J. Guignard “The Whale Hunts” by PL McMillan “Black Tongue” by Richard Beauchamp “Six Weeks” by MJ Mars On a final note, as of this weekend, all responses for the second round of submissions have been sent out.
