Lynne M MacLean (she/her) has had short fiction and poetry published in Augur Magazine, Alternate Plains: Stories of Prairie Speculative Fiction, Speculative North, On Spec Magazine, Room Magazine, and Podcastle, among others. She is the 2019 co-winner of the Speculative Literature Foundation’s Older Writers Grant and a finalist in ECW Press’s Best New Speculative Novel Contest. She works as a community/mental health research consultant and writer, and lives in Ottawa, Canada, with her husband and cat, neither of whom read her fiction.
